First glance at the first all-electric model, the 2027 Bentley Torcal
Bentley named its first fully electric model on July 6, 2026, and revealed the Bentley Torcal in London on September 23, 2026. The name comes from El Torcal de Antequera, a limestone wilderness in Andalusia, Spain, shaped over millions of years. It also shares a root with the word torque. Bentley calls the Torcal a new chapter for the marque and its fourth contemporary model line, joining the Bentley Continental GT, the Bentley Flying Spur, and the Bentley Bentayga. Performance and Range
The all-new Bentley Torcal is the first fully electric production SUV for Bentley, featuring two electric motors, all-wheel drive (AWD), and a 113.2-kWh battery. Output varies according to the selected model:
- Bentley Torcal: 810 horsepower and 852 pound-feet of torque, zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, and a 155-mph top speed.
- Bentley Torcal S: 876 horsepower, 996 pound-feet of torque, zero to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds with Launch Control, and a 162-mph top speed. The Bentley Torcal S is the most powerful production Bentley yet.
Bentley indicates a maximum driving range of 373 miles for both models and a towing capacity of up to 5,952 pounds. DC fast charging can take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 16 minutes under Bentley-specified charging conditions. For example, at a 350-kW charger, the Bentley Torcal can add more than 150 miles in about 10 minutes.
Bentley Active Ride uses an electrically controlled hydraulic pump at each damper to manage body movement. All-wheel steering turns the rear wheels opposite the fronts at low speeds, reducing the turning circle to about 36 feet. That degree of maneuverability has obvious appeal around tight garages and crowded streets near Morris County or Manhattan.
Exterior Design
The Bentley Torcal measures 197 inches long, 86 inches wide across the mirrors, and 66 inches tall, with a 119-inch wheelbase. The Bentley Torcal cabin introduces several materials and details developed specifically for the brand's electric era. Satin-silver exterior detailing, standard 21-inch wheels, the 12.25-inch OLED display, Bentley Signature Audio, all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, and Bentley Active Ride establish an extensive standard specification. The available Bright Design Specification adds 22-inch Turbine wheels and polished silver grille diamonds.
- Bentley Torcal S: Raises output to 876 horsepower and 996 pound-feet of torque and reduces the zero-to-60-mph time to 2.8 seconds with Launch Control. Black Bentley badging, dark exterior details, a sportier body kit, darkened taillight lenses, and available 22-inch wheel designs give it a more performance-focused appearance. Carbon-fiber interior veneers, dark chrome trim, and model-specific upholstery extend that character inside.
